Snack Guidelines

Snacks will be allowed only in the afternoons during our guided reading groups. Snacks should be HEALTHY (food for our brain!), easy to eat (without needing to wash hands), and not cold. Some perfect examples are: fruit, vegetables (like carrots, broccoli, cut peppers), crackers, pretzels, graham crackers. I do not consider chips or cookies a “healthy snack”, but I will not micro-manage what you feed your children! Candy and soda, however, are not permitted.

**NO PEANUT PRODUCTS IN THE CLASSROOM PLEASE!**
