CKLA SKILLS:
The Skills strand of the Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts program equips students with decoding skills for future independent reading. Each lesson starts with a warm-up that reviews previously taught content in reading, writing, or grammar. Reading sessions, whether demonstration stories or whole group, small group, or partner reading, include a story preview, presentation, and discussion.
