Millard Public Schools offers credit recovery in three forms:
1) Summer School: Students may take up to 2 classes for credit recovery but can also work ahead (i.e. take classes they have not, yet, attempted). Click here for the MPS Summer School website.
2) Night School at Ombudsman via an online format, Odysseyware. There is no direct instruction. Night School meets one night a week for 18 weeks from 4:30-6:30 PM at South 153rd Street. Students can only take classes that they have previously failed and are needed in order to meet Graduation requirements.
3) Odysseyware: This is a web-based, online format that is student-driven. Students may take 1 class at a time and work at their own pace. Students can only take classes they have previously failed. Not all classes are offered via Odysseyware. Students will be added to an Odysseyware study hall during the school year. Motivated students may be able to complete more than one class a semester.
Students should see their School Counselor with any questions regarding credit recovery.
