6th Grade Art

6th grade art is an introductory course designed to give students an overview of the Elements of Art: shape, line, value, texture, shape and form. Included in this course are two-dimensional and three-dimensional experiences, some of which may be painting, drawing, pottery and printmaking. Students will explore the influence of art from other times and cultures and learn about new artists along the way.
