This is my 4th year as a teacher, and my second year at Rockwell. I have loved my time here at “The Rock” and believe that is a truly special place to be! I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska Omaha. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Peru State College and will graduate in May of 2025. I am married to my husband Will, who teaches social studies at Millard South. We got married in December! Will and I spend time taking walks, reading, and spending time with our cats, family, and friends.
In our classroom, we become a family. Your students and their success are a top priority for me. I will always do my best to maintain positivity and accountability, while also having lots of fun! Let’s make it a great year!

This is my 2nd year as a teacher, but my third year at Rockwell. Rockwell is incredible and is my second family. I graduated in 2006 with my Bachelors of Science in Business Management from the University of Nebraska Omaha. I thought I would own my own business! My wife is a Kindergarten teacher and has been one for 18 years. After having two kids, I decided to go back to UNO and pursue a degree in Education. Several years later and two additional kids added, I was able to obtain my degree in Education. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree. My wife and I started dating in 2002 and were married in 2006. We have 4 kids (Landon 15, Adalynn 13, Camden 9, and Hudson 7)! We are busy with activities such as gymnastics, cross country, baseball, volleyball, and other activities. We love to travel together and make as many memories as possible.
In our classroom I want your students to learn and have fun, while feeling safe! At the same time, my goal is for them to also learn to become more responsible with their belongings, homework, and classwork. They can earn class money in my room to later spend on prizes, snacks and other goodies. They will be responsible with keeping track of their money and logging their transactions on their balance sheet with deposits/withdrawals!
