All About Miss Steensma

Welcome to first grade! This is my second year teaching, and I am very excited to be apart of this amazing Wheeler community. 

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Elementary Education. Last year, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction through the University of Nebraska at Omaha CADRE Program.

I love teaching because teachers are continuously learning and adjusting instruction to meet the needs of students. Education is my passion, and I am very lucky to be teaching in the same district I grew up in!
