ABOUT

National Honor Society is a nationally recognized club, it is based on community service and growing leaders of the community and you must apply in either the fall or spring. You are required to apply, but Southwest is not the most exclusive because we believe that anyone should be able to contribute and be a part of their community. Once you are in the club, you have to complete 3 different services each school quarter, starting the second quarter. This could include picking up trash, planting trees, collecting and donating goods, etc. There will also be organized community service events to help fill those three hours, such as blood drives, feed my starving children, and many more. We will be organizing a bigger project this year too, which will be decided and announced later in the year.
