Hello Special Educators,
We are excited that you will be a key member of our Special Services team here in the Moss Point School District!!! In order to support you and allow you to spend more time in your buildings and with your students, we have created this virtual orientation/professional development site!
The first section focuses on our procedures. You have access to Google Doc and PDF versions of our Special Education Teacher Handbook as well as a brief Welcome Video from Dr. McCullum, Director of Special Services. Please review these documents closely. It is a lot of information; however, it is organized to answer most of your questions regarding our district Special Education procedures. The rest of our content has been created by either our amazing MPSD district-level Special Services team members or the Mississippi Department of Education. In order to document your participation in our virtual orientation, you will be asked to complete a sign in sheet for each video. You don't have to complete them all immediately, but be sure to begin viewing them and taking notes as they are posted over the next week or so! We are looking forward to a Great Year in Tiger Nation!!!
