My Chromebook still doesn’t turn on
Ensure that the battery is charged by plugging the included power cable into the electrical outlet and the chromebook.
With most models, you should see a light come on on the side of the chromebook to indicate it is charging.
If you do not see this light come on, check the power cable to make sure none of the plugs are loose.
If you still cannot get the chromebook to turn on, disconnect the power cable from the chromebook, and close the lid of the chromebook.
With the lid closed, plug the power cable back into the chromebook and open the lid without pressing any buttons on the chromebook.
If these steps do not solve the issue, try the Google link #1 (in Links on the right-side of this page) to try additional steps officially provided by Google, or click Repair Request Form (in Links on the right-side of this page) to submit a ticket to the Coventry Tech team.
