To the patrons of the Amphitheatre Archive,
For the past two years, the Amphitheatre Archive has been a completely volunteer project maintained by a single high school senior (myself) who, while having quite the number of priorities, also wanted to provide this important service to the Montclair High School community. As the school year comes to an end and as I graduate next month, I am working on wrapping up any loose ends related to the Amphitheatre Archive project through my internship at the Montclair History Center (MHC), which runs from the latter half of May to the end of June. This website and its content should stay up as a resource following my graduation, but it will no longer be updated. Part of my internship is focused on facilitating the transfer process of the school’s historic documents (including the yearbook collection along with much more) to the MHC, whereby they will be fully accessible to the public and organized through a finding aid. To stay up-to-date with the transfer process, please follow the MHC's social media channels and look for updates on their blog.
It has been honor of mine to work on this project, and it has been immensely fulfilling to see how much of an impact my work has had for the MHS community and beyond. To conclude this parting message, I want thank everyone who has had a role in enabling the Amphitheatre Archive to thrive and for providing the motivation to make it into the resource it has become.
Thank you,
Sawyer Silberman
