Kindergarten Registration 2026-2027

Step 1:   If you have not already done so, please CLICK HERE to pre-register your child for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.  If you have any questions, please contact Cristie Bruhn, Mountain Way Secretary, at cbruhn@mpsdk8.org or 973-538-0339.

Step 2:  Print and complete all of the required Medical AND School forms below.  Please be prepared to submit completed forms at your Meet & Greet Experience in April (sign up is in Step 5).  CLICK HERE for all forms.  Additionally, please complete the mandatory Health Office Questionnaire (CLICK HERE).

Step 3:  Be prepared to show an original copy of the child's birth certificate along with your other registration documents at your Meet & Greet Experience. 

Please be aware that any child being registered for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year must be five years of age on or before October 1, 2026.

Step 4:  Be sure that you have all necessary "Proof of Residency" documents as you will be asked to prove residency at your Meet & Greet Experience.  "Proof of Residency" requirements can be found by CLICKING HERE.

Step 5:  CLICK HERE to sign up for a MW Meet & Greet Experience, at which time you and your child will meet with teachers, the principal, the secretary, and the school nurse.  Additionally, you will be asked to submit all required forms as well as birth certificate and proof of residency at that time.
