How teachers are using Swank:

Course: ELA

Academic Use: I like using "La Luna" and other Pixar shorts to show elements of story telling and how you can share emotions without words. Typically I would use a short with a character, setting, plot, theme, or beginning middle end story map so that the students can see how storytelling progresses.

Course: Elementary

Academic Use: "Zootopia" It will help students identify literary techniques.
