Welcome to the MPSD Family Support Site. Here you can find tutorials to support your student(s) in successfully accessing, navigating, and using Canvas to engage in learning while away from school. To best support all of our users, We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE the use of a MPSD issued Chromebook or personal Chromebook using your MPSD credentials!

Procedure for broken or non functioning Chromebooks:

  1. Check the FAQ below to make sure you cannot resolve the issue

  2. K-5 students contact your school office to make arrangements to swap the device.

  3. 6-12 Students please go to the school library to swap the device.

Lost Chargers

  1. Log into Unipay and process an order for a replacement charger

  1. Bring or email the confirmation code to the schools front office

  2. Please include the Manufacturer (Dell/HP) and Serial Number

  3. The office will distribute a new charger

Chromebook Camera Not Working or Poor Video Performance

  1. Turn on your Chromebook.

  2. Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi.

  3. At the bottom right, select/click the time

  4. Select Settings <GEAR ICON>

  5. At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.

  6. Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll see the version of the Chrome operating system

  7. Select Check for updates.

  8. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.

  9. Reboot the device

Zoom: This meeting for authorized attendees

If you are receiving this message when attempting to access a Zoom session

  • Ensure you are signed into the device with your school account

  • Access which will take you to a Google sign in page

  • Sign in (Click you school credentials)

  • Return to Canvas and Click the Zoom Link

*As an additional layer of security we require all participants to authenticate with their school credentials.
