About Karen

Karen (Weamer) McCafferty was born and raised in Millville, NJ. She attended Rieck Avenue School & Millville High School (Class of 1993).  Karen is proud former Thunderbolt cheerleader! As an alumnus, Karen made the decision to continue with Millville Public Schools as an employee, where she has worked for 21 years. 

Karen has been married for 27 years to her husband Bob. She has two children that also attended and graduated from Millville Public Schools: Bobby Jr (MHS Class of 2017) and Karleigh (MHS Class of 2020). 

Giving Back

Karen has a history of giving back and dedicating herself to the Millville community:

• Cheerleading Coach and Advisor

• Establishing Holly City Mustangs Cheerleaders

• MHS PTSA President for 7 years

About Rene

René (Yelich) Hogan was born and raised in Millville, NJ. She attended Western School, Rieck Avenue, & Millville High School (Class of 1990).  Rene is a proud former Thunderbolt cheerleader! Rene has worked for Millville Public Schools for the past 3 years. 

Rene has been married for 26 years to her husband Robby (MHS Class 1986). Her daughter Lily also attended and graduated from Millville Public Schools (MHS Class of 2017).

Giving Back

Rene has a history of giving back and dedicating herself to the Millville community:

• Rieck Avenue PTSA Vice President for 5 years

• Current MHS PTSA Member (10 years and running!)

• Lifetime Girl Scout and current Girl Scout Leader

• Leading fundraising and grant work for the Girl Scouts
