Theme: Famous Inventors and Inventions
Description: Students learn about various inventors and inventions. Students also explore hands-on activities related to each inventor. For example, students will learn about Ole Kirk Christiansen, the inventor of LEGO, and then they will get to explore with LEGO. Some of the inventors that students will be learning about may include but are not limited to Jerry Lawson, Louis Braille, Margaret Knight, George Devol, and Merle Robbins. Some of the essential questions that will be answered throughout the theme include: What is an inventor? What is a patent? What is a prototype? Who are some inventors and what did they invent?
