SC15.5.7 Design and conduct a test to modify the speed of a falling object due to gravity).
Directions:
Objective: Students will have to recreate a path that includes a bridge, tunnel, and dead end, using the marble maze kit. Also, students must make it steep enough so that gravity helps the marble continue to move downward.
Directions: Students read a story about a boy who is being chased through street and alleys. Students had to recreate the path the boy took in the story including a bridge, tunnel, and dead end, using the marble maze kit. They must also take into account how the falling marble is effected by the gravity.
Guidelines: Marble Run Maze Kits from our STEM Lab and a copy of the story from Story Engineering Book.
