W.4.35 Write personal or fictional narratives using a logical plot, transitional words and phrases, sensory details and dialogue and providing a sense of closure.

4.38d Use commas, apostrophes and quotation marks correctly.

Objective: Students will know how to use punctuation, including commas and quotation marks correctly in a Narrative Writing. Students will be able to construct a story that has a beginning, middle and ending. They will be able to use transitional words, adjectives, figurative language and dialogue to make the story more interesting.

Directions: Students were able to select a topic of their choice and compose a narrative. They then edited and revised submitting a final copy.

Guidelines: Students utilized Google slides in order to produce a book with illustrations to include  subject matter, which we covered in the third nine weeks.
