Objective: Students will design & construct their own land, inspired by “Mattland”, sparking creativity, problem- solving skills, and understanding of spatial concepts.
Directions: The class read the story, "Mattland". Students discussed the story, by identifying the main story elements and details. Students formed groups to create their own land using various materials. Students first planned their design, then built their land together.
