Hi! My name is Erica Lutz, and I am the Music Specialist at Forest Avenue Academic Magnet. This is my 22nd year teaching and my 8th year at FAAM.

I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music Education from Troy University, as well as an Education Specialist Degree in Special Education from Auburn University at Montgomery. I am also proud to be a National Board Certified Teacher.

I am a busy mom and I love spending time with my family! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exercising and I am always looking forward to the next adventure.

Most of all, I love sharing my passion for music with the students at Forest Avenue and helping them grow in creativity, confidence, and joy through music.
