MPS Virtual Program 2026-2027 Application 

(Non-Resident Applications)

The MCBOE approval on April 28, 2026, allows students who live outside of Montgomery County and meet eligibility requirements to apply to the Cyber Intelligence Academy, the Virtual Program, or other MPS magnet schools, based on available space.  

Action Required: Finalizing Your Registration

To officially secure your student's spot and make sure we have all the necessary details in our system for day one, we would appreciate your help by completing the following steps as soon as possible:

• For New Students: Complete the new student registration process in its entirety.

• For Returning Students: Please update your existing information to make sure all contact and medical details are up to date.

• The Critical Step: While completing or updating the form, please be sure to look out for a specific question about format. You must mark the question, "Will the student be attending virtually?" as "Yes". If you have already completed the registration updates, email sydney.sneed@mps.k12.al.us to let her know so she can update your registration. 

Note: Correctly marking "Yes" to the virtual attendance question is essential. It ensures your student is accurately placed on our virtual program rosters rather than a traditional classroom roster.
