Students gathered for our Muffins with the Media Specialists event — a Library Card Sign-Up Extravaganza filled with treats, connections, and opportunities. With tasty muffins on hand and friendly faces behind the table, students were encouraged to sign up for their very own Public Library Cards and discover all the resources available to them.

The turnout was incredible — over 100 students signed up to receive their cards! Each new library card represents not only access to books, but also to audiobooks, research tools, digital resources, and community programs.

This event wasn’t just about muffins; it was about fostering a love of reading and helping students see the library as a gateway to learning, creativity, and growth. By taking this first step, our students are now better connected to resources that can support them both in and out of the classroom.

We are thrilled by the excitement and participation, and we look forward to continuing to inspire our JAG Jaguars to read, explore, and discover more every day!
