In an exciting turn of events, Brewtech High School's basketball program is set to make a lasting impression in the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Two exceptional athletes, Johnathan Williams and Erin Martin, have been selected to participate in the prestigious AHSAA North South Basketball game, set to take place in July. Their impressive performances on the court have garnered attention from colleges and universities, paving the way for promising opportunities.

Johnathan Williams, a force to be reckoned with, averaged a remarkable double-double throughout the previous season. With an average of 14.3 points and an impressive 12.3 rebounds per game, Williams showcased his versatility and dominance. Shooting an impressive 53.3% from the field, his skills have caught the attention of several Junior Colleges (JUCOs) and Division II schools. With multiple options on the table, Williams is poised to make a significant impact at the collegiate level.

Erin Martin, equally talented and dedicated, has already received an incredible scholarship offer from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. Her consistently strong performances resulted in her own double-double averages of 14.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. It comes as no surprise that her exceptional skills have captured the interest of other notable institutions such as Alabama A&M University, Samford University, and The University of North Alabama. The future looks bright for Martin as she contemplates her options for continued academic and athletic growth.
