Immediate Driver Openings
The Munising Public School District is accepting applications for substitute school bus drivers. Applicants must be able to meet school bus driver certification requirements:
Beginning wage: $16.00+ per hour
Meet Federal DOT drug/alcohol testing requirements.
Pass a criminal background check.
Must have or be able to obtain a CDL driver’s license.
Pass a DOT physical examination.
Pass a Michigan School Bus Driver Education Course every 2 years.
Be able to operate all types of vehicles used to transport pupils.
Paid training including the cost of the CDL license and DOT physical for qualified candidates.
Benefits for driving position include personal days, Payment in lieu of vacation, sick days, and entry into the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System.
