🔎Finding Library Books
Destiny is the tool you use to search for books in the Wellstone Library. Click on the catalog tab. Search by title, author, subject or keyword. (Short tutorial above)
Destiny Visual search is an easy way to search for books using pictures.
Dewey Decimal (see below) is the system by which books are shelved. See chart below for guidance.
You can also check to see if you have library books or textbooks checked out to your name in Destiny by logging in in the upper right corner.
Along Destiny's left sidebar is WebPath Express and the Visual Version. This tool finds vetted websites for you. (Fewer and more specific results than Google)
Hennepin County Library runs all the public libraries in Minneapolis. You have access to millions of items; books, DVDs, CDs, etc.
Get a HCL library card online. They will send it to you in the mail. You will need this card to checkout books at Hennepin County public libraries.
