Welcome to Cityview and 4thgrade! I am excited to be your child’s teacher as we explore and learn this year together.  I have been a teacher in Minneapolis for 29 years. I have taught in grades 3rd through 8th. I am excited to again be team teaching with Ms. Hennings.  She will be focusing on teaching English Language Arts (ELA), and I will focus on Math.

I will not be sending home daily math homework. The only time your child will have math homework is if they did not complete their math assignment during independent work time.  They will have weekly spelling words they should be practicing every night, and please encourage your child to read for 20 minutes nightly.

Please remember to have your child charge their computer nightly, and bring their computer to school daily.
