Estimadas Familias,

Este año el equipo de Kinder traerá actividades de enriquecimiento al salón:

• “El Gigante Bueno y Amable” por la Sociedad de Protección de Animales (durante el mes de febrero)

Esta presentación cubre necesidades y el hábitat y cuidado apropiado.

• “Zoo Mobile” del Zoológico de Minnesota (durante el mes de marzo)

Proyecto interactivo de ciencia que incluye animales vivos.

• “Plant Mobile” del Arboreto de la Universidad de Minnesota (durante el mes de mayo)

Proyecto interactivo de ciencia que incluye plantas vivas para que lleven a casa.

El costo a la escuela para los visitantes será $20 por alumno. Todos los alumnos asistirán. Si quisieran contribuir, pueden enviar el dinero (en efectivo o cheque) directamente a la maestra antes del 1 de febrero.

Dear Families,

This year, the Kindergarten team is bringing enrichment activities to the classroom:

• “The Good Kind Giant” Animal Humane Society (February)

Presentation covers needs and proper habitat and care.

• Zoo Mobile through the Minnesota Zoo (March)

The Zoo mobile will visit with live animals to learn about animal classification.

• “Sunflower Supreme” Plant Mobile through the U of M Arboretum (May)

Hands-on science project includes live plants for take-home investigations.

These visitors are costing the school $20 per student. All students will attend. If you would like to contribute you can send money (cash or check) directly to the teacher by February 1st.

El día del Concierto de sus hijos, por favor envíelos a la escuela vestidos con pantalón o falda de color khaki y camisa de colores vivos (amarillo, rojo, verde, azul, rosado, morado, etc.)

*Por favor no logos, imágenes o texto en las camisas*

Concert Attire

On the day of your child’s concert please have them come to school dressed in khaki bottoms (either a skirt or pants), and a solid brightly colored shirt of their choice (pink, yellow, orange, green, purple, red).

*Please no logos, pictures or writing on the shirt. *
