IB Higher Level/Standard Level Language & Literature is a two year course focusing on the analysis of literature and various texts. Students in this two year course of study begin in 11th grade and finish in 12th grade. Students in this course will choose whether they want to complete the class at the Higher Level or Standard Level (distinctions made by International Baccalaureate). Any 11th or 12th grade student can take this class and it fulfills requirements for students both in the Diploma Programme (DP), Career-Related Programme (CP), and those working towards the Southwest Medallion.
