Welcome! My name is Andy Schmidt, and I've been teaching English at Washburn since 2012.

I currently teach English 10 and IB HL Language and Literature, Year 1.

I have a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin, an M.Ed. in English from the University of Minnesota, and a graduate certificate and license in Minnesota K-12 School Administration.

My additional credentials include training in AP Literature and Composition, Great Books Shared Inquiry Discussion, and Advanced Learner Education.
