Meet Mrs. Rice

Hello Everyone 

Welcome to Smartieville, home of the smarties.  I am Mrs. Rice.  I am so excited to have you in my class this year.   I have been teaching for over 30 years.  I am very excited to be at St. James this year. 

My husband Ron and I have recently moved from St. Paul, MN to Eau Claire WI to be closer to family.    I am married and have 3 grown children.    My oldest, Cody, is a warehouse manager for an electrical company in Plymouth MN.    My middle child, Jack, is an adoption/ foster care social worker in the cities.  My youngest, Mickey, is a community health and education specialist for the Marshfield Clinics in Eau Claire, WI.   She is  married and lives with her husband Zach and my first grandchild Miller in Mondovi, WI.   

I grew up in a large family in St. Paul.    I  enjoy spending time and helping my parents who are in their ninties, still live in their home and are very active.  They have been married for 70 years.  They are truly amazing and my heroes.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, biking, and golfing.  I guess you could say I love the outdoors.  (in the summer of course😎)
