Career Readiness Seminar
A semester class aimed to provide students with opportunities to research current and future career trends; discuss job-related experiences and on-the-job health/safety issues and employer-employee relations; identify personal, work, and lifestyle values; and create a personal portfolio and professional resume aligned with your personal career aspirations.
Why should I take this class? Students should take this course to provide clarity to their course and program selection. By researching current career trends students become informed consumers of educational opportunities. Student who successfully complete this course are eligible to take the Career Experiences Course.

Career Experiences Course (Coming Soon)
This is an off campus course where students receive school-site occupational instruction and related work site experience. In this course the classroom is extended into the workplace setting, by combining classroom activities with actual work experience.
In order to participate students must have complete the Career Readiness Seminar in either a course format or the portfolio format. Students also must complete a form and return to the Career Experiences Coordinator.

Personal and Professional Skills (PPS) A two semester class aimed to help students identify their career strengths and personal passions, apply thinking and communication skills in a career focus, develop effective collaboration skills, understand and articulate the value of cultural understanding and appreciation of diversity, and recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions.
