Hello Families-
My name is Erika Werner (Ms. Werner or Ms. W). I taught 1st grade in Lakeville and received my Masters in Education/Elmentary Education license in 2018. I student taught and worked as a paraprofessional in Edina Public Schools while I was in graduate school. I graduated with my B.S in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
As of now school is set to resume April 6th. If for some reason we do not, learning will be taken place primarily through seesaw. In the meantime use the links below to continue your students learning at home!

Seesaw will be where primary learning will be taken place. I will be adding new assignments, giving out quizzes/test, taking attendance and giving out grades through this platform.

RAZ Kids
RAZ kids is a great reading website for students to read books at their level then answer questions about they are reading. Below is the link, you might have to click on it twice to get to my homeroom, then find your students name and start reading!

GoNoodle
GoNoodle is great free resource to use for movement breaks, mindfulness. There are also how-to videos such as how to make ice cream.
Freckle
We use freckle math. Go to the website below and use class code: avzt5d and type in your students first name and first letter of last name. https://student.freckle.com/#/login
Clever
Clever gives access to the curriculum that we use for reading, phonics and writing, it is called Benchmark. It also gives you access to dreambox. Dreambox is a great math learning source. Use students logins, passwords and emails from the district. Students use logins and passwords every day to access their chromebooks so they should know these but I will also be sure to share them. Khan Academy
Khan academy is a great math enrichment site for students. It shows videos on how to complete math problems. Class code: 8ZD85KJT
