This is my 38th year of teaching science, 36 of those years in Minneapolis! My teaching licenses are for grades 7-12 biology, and grades 5-9 broad field science (which includes earth science, life science, and physical science). This is my 5th year at Edison High School. Go Tommies!
On a personal note, my husband (also a Minneapolis teacher!) and I live in Hudson, Wisconsin. We have four children: a farm girl with a degree in agronomy (the science of soil management and crop production), a U of M graduate working at Medtronic, and a recent college graduate (business communications) who played soccer at South Dakota State University (Go Jacks!). Our youngest has been busy in the working world, looking for his passion. I enjoy photography, kayaking, traveling, gardening, and I play in a handbell choir. I also train my border collies, Tango and Finley, to do agility and sheep herding. If you enjoy photos, there are some further down this page.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about your child's progress in science!

Kayaking is my favorite pastime!
One of my favorite places to kayak is on the St. Croix River!
