I feel so happy and lucky to be your teacher! This year is going to be full of learning, growing, and fun. You’ll make new friends, learn lots of new skills, and make wonderful memories. 

I began teaching middle school English Language Arts and Reading in 2007 in Des Moines, Iowa. Then in 2015, I moved to Minneapolis. I taught at Northeast Middle School for three years, Hale for three years, and I am now thrilled to continue teaching 3rd grade at Field.

When I’m not teaching, I love to spend time with my little family.  I love a caramel latte while reading a good book, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers win; as well as cooking Italian, going to UpYoga, and being outside. Writing with Flair pens, listening to RadioK, and snacking on popcorn make me happy.
