Mrs. Matthes

I am so happy to be teaching first grade at Waite Park! I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1989. I have been teaching in the Minneapolis Public Schools since 1993. I taught first grade at Martin Luther King and kindergarten at Anne Sullivan.

I love working with children and I expect them to work to their potential. I also have high expectations for myself and will put in the time and effort needed to make sure your child likes school and is successful. We are a team and with your help and support we will have a fabulous year!
