Class info

Advanced Algebra is a yearlong course that continues to build on the concepts of your 9th grade Algebra 1 course.  

We will cover the following units this year:

• Sequences and Series  

• Advanced Systems of Inequalities

• Families of Functions                          

• Probability

• Exponential, Power and Log Functions

• Polynomials

• Quadratics                              

• ACT/MCA Review

REQUIRED MATERIALS

Each student will need a Graphing Calculator & Chromebook.  

Calculators will be available in classrooms and all students NEED to bring their Chromebooks to class everyday.  If there are issues please see me or another staff.

 COURSE STRUCTURE

    Most Classes will involve a:

Warm up (10 min), 

Direct instruction (30 min or less), 

Independent Practice / Group Discussions (15 min or more)
