Room 175
Hey Polar Nation! My name is Mr. Capelle and this is my 7th year teaching biology here at North Community High School.
A little bit about myself: I grew up in Central Minnesota and graduated from Brainerd High School in 2005. After some jumping around between different jobs I took a position as an assistant coach for my father, the head basketball coach and longtime biology teacher at Upsala High School. It was then that I caught the teaching bug and knew that I was going to follow in my dad's footsteps and get back into the classroom, this time as a teacher.
My wife Laura and I have been married for 13 years; she works as an optometrist for a medical center based out of Stillwater, MN. We live a short drive away right here in Minneapolis with our two children Anders (5) and Linnea (3).
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending my time with my family, cooking, reading, and golfing. I am also a huge supporter of the Twins, Minnesota United FC, the Green Bay Packers, and anything created by Marvel. I am proud to be a part of Polar Nation and I am eager every day to work with the best students a teacher could ask for!
