Build Team
As you assemble your team of six to eight students, prioritize inviting underrepresented voices. The team should represent the student body and include students with experience with the school discipline and/or student support systems, in addition to welcoming African American and American Indian students.
We also encourage you to invite returning students, especially 9th graders who participated at their middle school, when possible.

Your YPE team will be spending a lot of time together throughout the course of the year! It is important to talk about how you will work together and what each member of your team needs to be able to contribute to the project.
