Bethune Arts Magnet School celebrates community, creativity and arts integration!  

Bethune Arts Elementary, a citywide magnet school, is located  in Minneapolis' Heritage Park neighborhood.  Students will experience learning that integrates the arts in all core subjects.  Bethune's proximity to down provides easy access to thriving arts and theatre opportunities.  Students can enhance and showcase their learning through arts experiences such as artist residencies, field trips, community partnerships, and performances.  Bethune values family engagement and participation and offers many opportunities for various family art experiences.  As a Full-Service Community School, Bethune also offers health support, out-of-school time activities, and family engagement for our students and families.

Art offerings at Bethune include dance, media arts, visual arts, 4th & 5th grade instrument, and music.  

At Marcy we believe that the  arts provide an avenue for students to showcase their learning through a variety of arts experiences. We use arts integration and programming to provide students with a collaborative learning experience focused on international peace and social justice. Located in SE Minneapolis, Marcy has a strong history of collaborating with the entire Minneapolis Arts Community. Our school’s  ideal location provides easy access  to the thriving arts and theater district in downtown Minneapolis, as well as arts experiences in Northeast and North Minneapolis.

Located in downtown Minneapolis at the gateway to the Arts District, The Fine Arts Interdisciplinary Resource (FAIR) High School for Arts is a public 9-12 fine arts high school that is rooted in equity, innovation and creativity.  We are a comprehensive high school with real-world opportunities to learn in and through a variety of arts including dance, music, media arts, theatre, and visual arts. Our immersive and intensive arts-based curriculum prepares students for college, career, and beyond.  We value the creative process and support arts-integrated learning across all content areas.

Student's individual interests and talents are nurtured through diverse and culturally sustaining learning experiences both inside the walls of FAIR and extending to the greater downtown arts campus. Fine arts and core content teachers will get to know you as an individual to guide you on YOUR path to success. We want to help you discover and refine your own artistry by connecting you with resident professional artists and partnerships in the downtown community.  

Perform on stage, create in a studio, or work behind the scenes while completing your high school degree through arts-integrated coursework.  All students entering grades 9-12, regardless of background or experience in the arts, are invited to apply through a flexible admissions process.  We encourage students with an eagerness to learn and a capacity for continued growth to come learn with us.
