4th hour One to one Parent education

This is a parent-directed one to one educational experience. With Story and Song-Time for children. Parents will have to ability to choose their choice of time and topic, to discuss and gain both researched and educationally validated tools to help their child/children to grow and develop to their potential.

5th and 6th-hour classes

Prenatal & Baby (Term A, 2-hour course) This class is for first time, pregnant students. Learn about your pregnancy and delivery, baby care, and what to expect the first couple of months with a newborn baby. Feeding, crying, and pregnancy. In addition, we will talk about development, feeding, sleeping, language development, and literacy. There will also be a weekly check-in and weekly parent-child interaction time.

Movers & Shakers (Term B, 2-hour course) This class is for student parents whose baby is crawling on all fours or in the beginning stages of walking. We will talk about development, feeding, sleeping, language development, and literacy. There will also be a weekly check-in and weekly parent-child interaction time.

Older Toddlers (Term A, 2-hour course) This class is for student parents who have a toddler. We will talk about development, feeding, sleeping, language development and literacy, and toddler behavior. There will also be a weekly check-in and weekly parent-child interaction time.

Preschool (Term B, 2-hour course)This is for student parents with a child in the preschool room. We will talk about development, school readiness, cultural awareness, sleep, nutrition, and language development, and literacy. There is also parent-child interaction time 1x a week.
