About Ms. Amanda Lodermeier
I have been teaching for over 15 years, and loving every moment of it. I have a Liberals Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, my teaching degree from Rutger's University, and a Master's of Science in Global, International and Comparative Education from Drexel University. As a lifelong learner, I am always reading and studying. Recently, I have been trying to learn to Mountain Bike.
When I am not teaching and learning at Dowling, I enjoy exploring with my family. My spouse, Adam, and my two children, Linnea and Henrik, and I love exploring our South Minneapolis neighborhood on foot and on bike. In the summer, we love reading at Roosevelt Library, playing pickleball at Lake Nokomis, or playing at Hiawatha Park. When snow falls, you can find us ice skating at Sibley or cross country skiing at Fort Snelling. Ask me about my backyard chickens!
About Ms. Mitchell
I have been working in education for 5 years. I have an Associates of Science in Special Education and an Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts. I am a senior at Mankato State University studying Special Education. I love learning new things and I especially love math and science.
I have two kids, Alana and Kaiden. We spend a lot of time outdoors. We are car-free and enjoy the city from our cargo bike. We love going to the park, the zoo, and out to eat at Pizza Luce.
