Social Justice

The work shared here has been created by students in the 4th grade classrooms of Mrs. Solis & Mr. Lucas. Our collaboration has aligned 4th grade standards with visual arts standards and the equity work we're doing with E3: Education, Excellence, and Equity.

As a team, we've had students explore the following concepts of social justice-identify, community, action, and justice-and how that shows up in 4th grade. We've used a variety of picture books to explore the idea of who we are and how we connect with our communities.
