Purpose and Goals

The purpose of the PTA is to promote the welfare and well-being of all children. We build community in our school and enhance communication between home and school, to make it the best possible learning experience for our children.

We’re reaching this goal through events such as the Back to School Ice Cream Social, Kenwood Crawl, Family Activity Night, Silent Auction and other planned events throughout the year. These events both help build community and raise money, which will directly go back to the classrooms to support:

  • Curriculum enhancing materials for the classrooms

  • Field trip scholarships

  • Arts residencies and enriching programs such as African Drumming, Taiko Drumming, Photography, Dance, Art Adventure with Mia, Native American Art Residency, MN Center for Book Arts, the annual school play, and much more.

We hope you all join in and help us reach our goal to support all our children.
