Mrs. Janine  Lancaster

I was born and raised in New York where I attended college at SUNY Potsdam and double-majored in Writing & Literature and Secondary Education. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota studying Education Policy. 

I began my career after college in legal medical contract negotiations but soon found my footing in the classroom in 2013. I moved to Minneapolis in 2015 with my husband and have been teaching in MPS since, with the 2025-2026 school year being my eighth at North High. 

It is one of the prides of my life to be a Polar and I can't wait to meet all of you to talk about all the books and all the sports!
