Prerequisites:

WIDA level 2.7 - 3.5; arrival in the U.S. within the last 5 years.

Course Description:

ELS 3B is an English Language Development class for 9-12 grade Multilingual Learners (MLs) at WIDA Level 3 who have been in the country for less than 5 years. The goal of this class is to provide MLs with strategies to improve their English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students are provided with additional learning activities to practice grade-level content language and concepts.
