Tutoring
AVID provides tutor-facilitated study groups. Provides academic support & organizational skills to improve student success in all subjects.
Small group tutoring occurs twice a week
Course Overview:
*All grade levels work on writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading skills.
9th Grade:
Students get support in the transition to high school
Practice researching skills & problem-solving skills
Work on writing and note-taking strategies
10th Grade:
College & Career Center activities

11th Grade:
Receive free ACT Exam Prep
Research colleges, careers, and scholarships

12th Grade:
