"Mighty Girl Book Club - Open to those of all gender identities: a safe, welcoming space to read and discuss ideas related to gender, identity, female empowerment, and feminism in the modern era. We will look at classics like Whale Rider, as well as “newer” literary offerings like Persepolis and Hidden Figures (reading list subject to change based on member preference and parental approval).

Hosted by Language & Literature teacher Ben Byers and his wife Helen Schnoes (an Anthony alumnus), Mighty Girl benefits educational, social, and emotional growth while giving each member a place and a voice."

Catalog Description:

Simple to learn and difficult to master, Ultimate Frisbee is a safe, non-contact way to keep physically active at all times of the year. Open to all genders and grade levels, Ultimate Frisbee League meets weekly to play competitive but low-stakes scrimmages. While fundamentals are taught, the main focus of the class is to have fun and stay active!
