ABOUT MR. VOGEL

Hey! My name is Andrew Vogel, and I am currently teaching 8th grade Algebra for Minneapolis Public Schools. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, where I studied Early Childhood and Middle Adolescence Education (Gr. 1-8), and minored in Social Studies.

I have worked for Minneapolis Public Schools for the past few years as a Reserve Teacher and Classroom Teacher. I have worked with students between the ages of 5 and 14 during this time. Most recently, I have worked as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Bancroft Elementary as well as an 8th Grade Algebra Teacher at Folwell Performing Arts. At Folwell, I am a co-facilitator of the Gender-Sexuality-Alliance (GSA).

When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking outdoors, listening to records, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. The Brewers and Twins are the best baseball teams. Other sports are cool too, but baseball is my favorite.
