In this AP/CIS Calculus A/B course, students will develop a rigorous understanding of calculus concepts, beginning with a deep exploration of limits and continuity, including their applications in identifying horizontal asymptotes and the Intermediate Value Theorem. The curriculum transitions into the foundational principles of differentiation, where students master rates of change, the derivative as a function, and the relationship between differentiability and continuity. Through this study, students will build the analytical skills necessary for advanced mathematics, learning to evaluate complex functions and apply calculus techniques to solve real-world problems.
