Fall Tiger Classic

Mount Pleasant High School invites you to participate in our annual Fall Tiger Classic, at Mount Pleasant High School on

Saturday, October 18, 2025

All UIL Academic events will be offered, and we are using reputable material sources.

All Academic contests are $10 per entry, individual speaking events are $15, CX is $30 per team, Computer Science hands-on is also $30 per team. 

We will split entries 1A-3A small school, 4A-6A large school. Individual medals awarded for 1st – 6th place, team plaque awards for 1st place team, with 1st and 2nd place teams receiving medals. Sweepstakes awards for 1st and 2nd place schools in both divisions awarded at the end of the contests. We will award top speaker and top science awards as well. 

Speech & Debate:

Schools must provide judges according to the following formula:

LD Debate: 1 judge for every two competitors

CX Debate: 1 judge for every two teams

Congress: Fall 2025 Docket TFA.pdf - Google Drive Round 1: Bills 16-20 Finals Round: Bills 21-25 

Extemp. and Interp.: 1 judge for every six competitors or portion thereof in extemp and interp. per school available for prelims and finals.

There is a $200 judging fee as we do not have access to a large pool of judges.  While we love the money, we prefer you bring the appropriate number of judges.

Please bring academic judges for each event entered as well. If this is a problem, please contact Gina Crouch (rcrouch@mpisd.net) or Joel Whitaker (jwhitaker@mpisd.net) ahead of the competition so that we can make arrangements.
