correctly cite the sources.
Activity #1:
Put your name and your topic on the sheet at your table.
Select a table mate's topic to assist with and put your name as collaborator.
Search for information on their topic as a collaborator and pick one website as a resource for their topic.
Activity #2:
Open the SIFT reminders, also available on the MPHS Library Website.
After learning about the SIFT approach to evaluating sources, apply the Lateral Reading strategy (SIFT) to the website you found during the collaborative opening activity.
Is the source reliable?
What makes you believe so?
Is there another source you might want to select instead? Why?
When you have a reliable website, add the source to THIS collaborative document.

Questions? We can help!
Citing an Image: If you use images from the articles or websites you've already cited, you do not need an additional citation. However, if you find an image that isn't attached to an article / website in your works cited, you must create that citation.
To create the MLA citation for an image found outside of an article, open THIS document and follow the directions.
Add the citations for each image used within your presentation.
Please note: You have the rights to use images in an educational presentation, within school; outside of the school setting, you must have the rights to an image before using it.
Activity #5:
Present to a partner to gather constructive feedback on your presentation.
Fill out feedback form for presenter.
